Sopwith Dove

The original Sopwith Dove was a two-seat version of the Sopwith Pup and was marketed as a “sporting two-seater”. To pay tribute to this rugged but handsome machine we’ve built the Dove three-wheeler. This is as close as you can get to flying a Dove without a pilot’s license!

You get the same open cockpit seat of the pants driving experience. The car’s styling takes its inspiration from the original airplane giving the driver a sense of occasion whenever it’s driven.

The Dove will be rear-wheel driven and is built around a lightweight tubular stainless steel space-frame chassis. It will be powered initially by our sister company Villiers own compact three-cylinder water-cooled rear-mounted 1.2 litre two stroke inline engine. This will be mated to a custom built five-speed gearbox, with a heavy-duty chain driving the rear wheel.

The engine is rated at over 100bhp and together with the cars lightweight, fully independent suspension and disc brakes will give the car a spirited ride and is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face.

The Dove is only available in blue and cream livery.
